1992. Prior to joining the
school counseling faculty,
Dr. Quarto worked in Michigan and Wisconsin as a
clinical mental health
counselor and private
practice psychologist,
respectively. He worked
closely with school
personnel and pediatricians
concerning children and
adolescents who exhibited a
variety of psychological
disorders, in particular
Attention Deficit
Hyperactivity Disorder
(ADHD). He is a licensed
psychologist (HSP) in Tennessee and has a
part-time private practice
in which he provides
counseling services to
individuals as well as
psychological testing and
consultation services to
area schools. Dr. Quarto is
a certified

Parenting
parent educator and trainer
of parent educators. He is
past president of the
Tennessee Association for
Counselor Education and
Supervision. In addition to
ADHD, Dr. Quarto’s research
interests include counselor
development and supervision,
school counselor
credibility, and the
creative use of brief
therapy techniques.

Robin Wilbourn Lee,
Associate Professor, Ph.D.,

University,
1997. Prior to joining the
professional counseling
faculty, Dr. Lee was a
professor and program
coordinator of the
counseling program at the
University of
Tennessee-Chattanooga. She
has several years of
volunteer experience working
with organizations such as
Sexual Assault Resource and
Crisis Center in Chattanooga
and the Columbus Rape Crisis
Center in Columbus, Georgia.
Dr. Lee is a Licensed
Professional Counselor (LPC)
in Tennessee and Georgia and
a National Certified
Counselor (NCC). She is
president of the
Southern Association for
Counselor Education and
Supervision
(SACES), past president of
the Tennessee Association
for Counselor Education and
Supervision (TACES), and has
served in various capacities
on state and national
committees. Dr. Lee's
research and professional
interests include counselor
supervision and training
issues, sexual assault,
domestic violence, and
gender, ethical and legal
issues.
